“Running” is considered one of the easiest and most convenient forms of exercise. All it takes is discipline and the desire to get up and run, along with a good pair of shoes. Besides improving health, it would be wonderful if running could also contribute to public health in underserved areas of the country.

With a commitment to creating a lush and warm community in every aspect of life sustainably, Thanasiree has partnered with Anabuki and Lofis (joint venture companies from Japan and Hong Kong) to participate in the charity walk-run event “Steps with Dharma, 8th Edition for 19 Hospitals”, aiming to promote good health and foster a community of sharing.

Suthirak Sateerakphayuth, CEO of Thanasiree Group mentioned that supporting this event aligns with the company’s commitment not only to developing housing projects but also to caring for good health and building a supportive community.

“We invited homeowners and business partners from all sectors to join this event, with over 370 participants. We hope that this “run” will inspire everyone to take care of their health for a better life while also contributing to society. It’s a small yet significant step, bringing joy to those who participated in this run.”

Happiness happens here... from interviews with homeowners and our partners who shared their joy from participating in this charity walk-run event, even though many had different inspirations.

Nantawarat Onswang, a homeowner in the Anabuki Thanahabitat Ratchaphruek project, fights against himself to reach the finish line by bringing “mindfulness” into his running routine. “I’m not a professional runner; I’m just someone who feels that while running, I am 100% with myself, which brings mindfulness, similar to meditation. Every step I take feels like every breath I take, allowing me to release everything from my life and focus on each step instead.”

He shared that this is his second year participating in the event, encouraged by the Thanasiree team, which he greatly appreciates since he enjoys running and values the charitable aspect organized by the Somdet Phra Yannasangworn Foundation to donate to 19 hospitals. This makes him even happier to participate, as he feels that even a small contribution brings joy.

Meanwhile, Sewat Prakairungrasmee, a homeowner in the Thanacluster Ratchaphruek – Bang Phlu Station project, shared that he was not an early riser before he started running. However, running has made him wake up early since most events start at 5 AM, allowing him to experience the morning atmosphere and become the owner of the roads and bridges that he wouldn’t have the chance to enjoy if he didn’t get up to run in events like this.

“I started running because a friend invited me. The first time was surprising because it was during the Bangkok Marathon, running across the elevated Borommaratchachonnani Road to the King Bhumibol Bridge. It felt special because ordinary people wouldn’t have the chance to walk-run like this, making it fun. Each event has its unique charm, and this Steps with Dharma event is no different, as it runs around Rattanakosin Island. I believe that without events like this, we wouldn’t have the opportunity to walk on these streets or take beautiful photos that bring us happiness.”

On the side of business partners participating in this charity walk-run, Pakjira Amka from Bayer Co., Ltd. invited friends to run together. Although she says she’s not a runner, she never neglects her running practice and is one of the first to volunteer whenever the Thanasiree team invites her to run.

“When it comes to the happiness of running, even though I have to fight against myself to reach the finish line, what I gain is the friendships along the way and the atmosphere of meeting new friends. I love the atmosphere when I run and encounter fellow runners who cheer each other on, whether through gestures or small words like, ‘Just a few more kilometers to go.’ These memories become clearer as I run.”

Pongchai Saely, from TF Roof Co., Ltd., one of our valued business partners, shared that he appreciates Thanasiree’s emphasis on the health of its partners after continuously inviting them to run together.

“The first time I participated in the event, I was impressed because I could absorb the views around Rattanakosin Island in a way that I normally wouldn’t be able to see. Having the opportunity to join the event, I truly felt the joy of running. This time, I also wanted to capture good memories with my school friends who invited me to join.”

This event not only promotes health and good sharing but also reinforces the inspiration and mission of the company, aiming to be a Lifetime Total Living Solution that meets the living needs of people of all ages under the concept “Thanasiree... We Care.” In addition to developing quality housing projects, it also includes expanding health services under the nameHomey Wellness, all of which emphasize the organization's direction to create a lush and warm community in every aspect of life sustainably.
